Evangelism

The church are Upper Darby prioritizes the call of reaching our neigbourhoods for Jesus Christ. We do this by taking outreach teams to the sorrounding neigbourhoods every Saturday, knocking on doors, giving invitation fliers and speaking to people about their needs. With Philadelphia City being 20 minutes away from our location, our neigbourhoods are filled with people from all over the world. Step outside on the streets of Upper Darby and we are able to minister to the world in our local outreaches! View more photos here

During the summer we are able to diversify and take our music band out to the parks where they play gospel rap music in the open air. We have seen God drawing many different people to stop and listen and therefore we are able to reach them and impact them for Jesus Christ.

As a church we support other Christian Fellowship churches in the area by joining with them during their outreaches (Impact Teams) and are able together to have greater impact. We always look forward to when other Impact teams from other churches join us in our local outreach as we are able to step outside the box and reach other segments of people.

World Outreach

Prescott, AZ
The Upper Darby Potter's House Church regularly donates money to our mother church in Prescott, AZ to support world missions.

Uganda, East Africa
Years ago, Pastor Overson was sent to take over this work in Uganda Africa. Through working with the local people in over 10 years he was able to teach and train them to continue the work of discipleship. A local young man rose up to take the leadership, Pastor Richard Tadwa and through him has planted over 15 churches in Uganda. The ministry is going strong and The Upper Darby Potter's House is always a blessing to Uganda by sending Pastor Overson to preach in their congregation, open air crusades strengthen them to continue with the vision.  

East London, South Africa

Years ago, Pastor Overson started a church in East London, South Africa, which is now a
self-supporting work. The Upper Darby Potter's House offers financial assistance to this church when necessary.  

Jamaica
Pastor Overson recently preached and outreached in Jamaica for Pastor Patrick Jordan. Chris Clunis, a member of our local congregation, accompanied him. Pastor Overson preached revival meetings and an outdoor healing crusade in Kingston, Jamaica.

Rwanda
